DWP No. 052

For WEEK THREE, we are going to do a little character development through a series of questions.

  • Each day, THREE QUESTIONS will be asked
  • Assume a character and answer the three questions IN CHARACTER.

BUT HERE’S THE RUB! (optional)

If anyone comments on your writings, you have to intake that as part of your character, essentially agreeing to whatever anyone brings up as either a comment or questions.

For instance, let’s say you were thinking that your character is a doctor. If someone comments and asks if your character is a circus clown, then you have to say “Yes,” and take that little tidbit and incorporate it into your character, whether or not you like how they’ve changed your character.

  1. Phyllis.

I am constantly living in the now so it’s a redundant question as the only place I can be is in the now.

When I want to get through today is the multitude of the tasks and requirements that all competing for my attention.

What I DON’T want to accomplish today is to give into procrastination and negativity and passivity and rigidity.

  2. ‘Even’ Pt. 7

At what point are you no longer living in the now?
This, of course, is a great question. And, of course, every Bromide will have a different answer for you. For instance, I know this … well, never mind because this is not about that. For me, the now no longer is just after the point when the fat face of the moon drop just below the horizon of the purple lake. Next.

What do you want to accomplish today?
Of course, I generally have little to accomplish on any given day, and so, for today, I suppose I would have to say something about how I really would like to finish this interview today. Is that going to be possible? Great! Next.

What do you specifically not want to accomplish today?
Ideally, of course, I would not want to accomplish nothing. Next. Oh, really? Well, goodbye then.

  3. 19. At what point are you no longer living in the now?
Thinking beings only attempt to live in the now, by reacting to the past and anticipating the future.

    20. What do you want to accomplish today?
I ought to be signing closing documents for the asset offloading I came to this town to do in the first place. As for what I want…? I don’t suppose I know. I’ve never thought about that before. It’s never been important to me or affected my life in any way so I am quite a novice in this respect.

    21. What do you specifically not want to accomplish today?
Again, I don’t know how to answer this.
